For Sale: 1976 GMC Sierra 1500 in ASHEVILLE, North Carolina for sale in Asheville, NC
Vehicle Description This 1976 GMC High Sierra 4x4 is in great overall condition.
It starts EVERY time and goes down the road true and without issue.
All the lights work, horn, wipers - everything you need to work, works.
This is a tank of a truck.
SOLID.
You can load it up with firewood and tow a car at the same time - she will never even break a sweat.
If you need a good looking older work truck - this might be for you.
Not in pristine trailer queen condition - a driver quality truck.
I have more photos, just ask.
Some of the newer parts include:
- 10,000 mileage on the 350 installed about 5 years ago - rebuilt transmission just last year, about 1,200 miles ago - newer WARN locking hubs and driveshaft - rear leaf springs w/ Monroe load leveler shocks - master cylinder - brakes and brake booster - alternator - battery - 4x4 shifter boot - Edelbrock aluminum intake - Edelbrock 650carb - Accel distributor - vintage Audiovox 8 track w/ some tapes - newer Yokahama tires - front ball joints - steering stabilizer - power steering pump - fuel pump - fuel sender The truck has had some rust repair by the last owner (who lived in Western NC and had this as his daily driver for several years).
I was told that all the rust around the rear wheels was cut out and steel patch panels welded in before the new paint was applied.
There are spots at the bottom of the doors where there are bubbles coming though - ask for pictures and I will also post a video too.
It's a very reliable, solid work truck, ready to drive and or restore.
These trucks are very desirable partly because they are SO EASY to work on.
If you're in the market for classic that you can enjoy driving now and further restore at the fraction of a price of a new truck, holler out to me.
