Major Duties:
Interviews patients for meal selection. Assembles/setup food/supply cart for room service/tray line service. Checks tray for accuracy while following all dietary restrictions. Manages all operations pertaining to the diet office. Assemble, label and arrange recipe items. Prepares Nourishments and delivers food items to appropriate locations/patients. Processes all late trays accurately and in appropriate time frames. Answers phones and relays information to appropriate supervisor. Utilizes computer software to enter/edit patient preferences and to add special feedings from computer generated reports. Work Schedule:

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Must push heavy equipment needed to perform in the kitchen area. Work is normally done inside in areas that are well lighted, heated and ventilated., usually noisy from food service activities. Must be alert due to danger of slipping on floors where food and beverages have been dropped. He/She will regularly be exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, hot working surfaces, and extreme temperature changes when entering walk-in refrigeration or freezing units. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
