One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level. Some examples of specialized experience may include the following:
responsible for gathering data needed for contract preparation and prepares specifications and clauses to be included in contracts for maintenance and repairs; reviews fleet credit card discrepancies and notifies management of potential misuse of fleet cards; and makes final decisions on vendors to be used for vehicle maintenance repairs, considering past performance (timeliness, quality of work and cost). GS-11:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level. Some examples of specialized experience may include the following:
assists in developing policies, oversees administrative procedures and operational oversight for all fleet management functions; participates in annual work planning, establishment of work programs and review and evaluations of operations involving support of the Organization's Mission; and provides advice and information to managers and supervisors on procedures and policies related to Fleet management. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
