Insurance Inspector / Field Inspector Asheville
We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete primarily commercial property inspections in ASHEVILLE, NC & surrounding areas.
Earnings are commission-based, as each inspection, for each location, is either flat-rated or paid by the hour (determined by the inspection's length and complexity).
For commercial inspections, inspectors travel to business sites, meet with the insured (usually the business owner) briefly for a description of the business itself, and while touring the premises, evaluating hazards and safety concerns in general as well as those associated with the business operations. Businesses are typically mom and pop occupancies, what you might find on a Main Street.
The volume of work we have in the area is about 2 days' worth/week.
Inspectors must have an insured, reliable vehicle, access to high-speed Internet, and a digital camera.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English
A strong work ethic
A high degree of personal integrity
Attention to detail
Mathematical aptitude; ability to see spatial relationships
Strong organizational and time management skills

The ability to interact professionally via telephone or in person, with policy holders (insureds), clients, and their representativesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
