Job Details:

The occupational therapist is responsible for provision of occupational therapy within the regulations of the NC Board of Occupational Therapy to include patient evaluation, administration of treatments, teaching, documentation of services in the patient''s medical record, and appropriate communication/conduct.
Essential Duties and Responsibility Levels:
A. Provision of occupational therapy services; including evaluation, treatments, and teaching within regulation and according to physician orders.
B. Establishes, implements and revises the occupational therapy treatment plans as appropriate to patient care and in coordination with the physician.
C. Follows CarePartners Home Health procedures and professional standards with appropriate follow up in care and reporting to supervisor or physician as needed.
D. Coordinates care, including care management and discharge planning with patient/responsible party, physician, other disciplines and/or external resources.
E. Documents accurately, objectively and timely in accordance with regulations and agency policy/procedures. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, assessment, treatment plan, provision of care and services, discharge summary, certifications, and OASIS.
F. Provides training and supervisory visits as required for other service personnel (e.g. nursing assistants, COTA''s, students, and new hires.)
G. Maintains working knowledge of Medicare and other payor source requirements and applies this knowledge in management of patient care and services.
Required Qualifications:
- OT License
- Valid Driver''s License
- Previous experience as an OT
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as an OT

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
