Position
Summary:
Assist the A/R team with daily tasks and activities to ensure claims are filed promptly and accurately with all the required information.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage legal inquiries, completion of affidavits, and invoicing related to requests on patient accounts Mailing out claims with anesthesia records and/or associated EOB's Receive and complete requests for medical records and load that information onto payor portal(s) for payment Photocopying, scanning and faxing Tracking daily productivity to report to supervisor Answer and direct phone calls; making phone calls Sending emails Preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages Will cross train to support other clerical staff in the department Maintains strictest confidentiality Will use PHI and PPM billing systems daily Will use Microsoft office products on a regular basis Maintain good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures Ability to exercise effective decision-making skills to accomplish goals and creatively problem-solve issues Detail-oriented individual with sound judgment with a focus on having the job completed in a timely manner Non-Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned This position is Hybrid and you will be required to be in office 3 days a week Education/Licensing/Certification:
High School graduate or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of one-year experience in a business office preferably healthcare.
Working knowledge of Excel and Word is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and issues Skilled in Microsoft computer applications including Word and Excel Highly skilled in verbal and written communication.
Skilled in gathering and reporting information.
Ability to work effectively with staff Must display teamwork attitude and good inter-personal skills.
Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Base pay is based on market location and will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
