Summary:
Performs a range of accounting and financial duties to support the financial and some HR functions of the company.
Assists with preparation of financial statements including but not limited to income statements, balance sheet, cash flow and management reports.
Works with CPA Reconciles bank and investment-related statements Reconciles and closes books monthly Audits petty cash Performs general ledger duties and understand journal entry Processes all check deposits by remote Conducts audit of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action, if necessary Handles all workers comp employee claims Assist with workers comp annual audit Assist HR with employee benefits enrollment when needed Assist with recruitment and interview scheduling Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
