Summary:
Install, triage, and repair all computer hardware, and applicable peripherals.
Resolve internal user issues and ensure proper operation of company issued computers.
Maintain HW asset inventory and logs all servicerepair activity.
Must be able triage basic network connectivity issues for both office based and remote end users alike.
Must be able to discern and properly escalate specific issues to the software systems engineering, or the applications development teams as applicable to restore service and/or identify core problems.
Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Respond to daily inbound telephone calls, emails and web base trouble tickets regarding technical issues from NPH employees including but not limited to hardware, software, email, enterprise applications, phone system, CAD's etc.
Configure Office365 email accounts and workstation system setups for all new hires Initiate the resolution for end user and IT support issues, to ensure timely resolution of problems and positive impact on user satisfaction.
User satisfaction is determined by a customer set SLA.
Rapidly resolve and respond to questions received via telephone, e-mails, letters, and callbacks.
Communicate with end users on the current status of their issues.
Convey problems to appropriate individual based on established guidelines and procedures.
Refers more complex problems to intermediate and/or senior levels.
Attend training sessions and assist in training workshops when necessary.
Participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of IT department with regards to change management, problem identification, and issue documentation.
Assist in special product-related issues as needed.
Develop business and technical writing skills.
Where possible you may be required to document technical process and procedures.
Maintain and produce required activity reports.
Devise and practice problem solving management techniques to proactively eliminate potential and reoccurring support issues.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Maintains strictest confidentiality to include HIPAA and sensitive company data that may be encountered.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Licensing/Certification:
4-year degree preferred, but not required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in intermediate desktop and network systems support.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical and investigative skills to accurately identify root-cause issues.
Proficient with Win10Win11 OS and current cloud-based applications to include Microsoft Office365, Azure AAD, Windows365 Desktopetc.
Superior communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of current utilities and program scripts to include PowerShell 3.

Solid ability in gathering and reporting information.
Ability to work effectively with office staff, physicians and external customers.
Candidate must have a professional demeanor and the ability to work equally well with peers and customers alike.
Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and during peak demand times.
